Genplex has been extruding polystyrene tubing and profiles for nearly 25 years. We extrude polystyrene tubing in outside diameters ranging from 0.020" to 5.0" Our polystyrene tubes, tubing, and profiles are extruded from crystal polystyrene or high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), which provides increased strength and rigidity within a lightweight, economical product. Moreover, polystyrene is resistant to water, and possesses excellent dielectric strength. Our extruded crystal styrene tubes and profiles are available water clear, translucent or opaque, while tubing extruded from HIPS is opaque.

Polystyrene Tubing Grades

For applications that require additional toughness we extrude co-polymerized grades of polystyrene tubes, tubing and profiles from ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), SAN (styrene acrylonitrile resin), and SMA (Styrene maleicanhydride). Custom formulations are available for specific markets and applications.
